My Sexy Saturday, week 37

It's that My Sexy Saturday time of the week again!  For those of you who aren't familiar with 'My Sexy Saturday', it is a blog hop, and gives writers a chance to share their SEXY 7... seven words, sentences or paragraphs, from a completed work, or a work in progress.  Each week there is a theme, and this week the theme was 'Putting The X In Sexy', 'X' as in kiss.

And who doesn't like a good kiss?

I had a few scenes that immediately came to mind, some contained heated, steamy kisses, some contained more demure, soft kisses... but the scene I finally decided on is a first kiss.

I have shared excerpts of India & James's story before on my blog, in fact, last weeks My Sexy Saturday was a scene involving these two as well.  I love the characters, they are a relatively new couple, and are crazy about each other.

Immediately prior to this scene, James and India have been on their first date and as much as both would like to move things along to more private surroundings, they want to take things slowly.

James gently pulled India toward him so they were face to face, then put his hands on her hips and dipped his head down, brushing his lips lightly against hers. India didn't push him away and when she moaned very quietly against his mouth, he realised she was enjoying it as much as he was. The kiss didn't develop into anything more, and when India broke off the kiss a couple of minutes later James found himself feeling disappointed... but also extremely happy,  and more than a little horny.

“Sorry... I have self-control issues and um... I was fast losing the last ounce of restraint I have...” India said quietly, as she rested her head against his chest. James put his arms around her and smiled.

“I have those same issues,” James admitted and India giggled as she moved his arms around his waist.

“I don't want tonight to be over, but at the same time... I know it's for the best if it does end now,” India sighed.
